EDWIN JOHNSON
Director / Maker / Performer
Edwin is a performer / creator based in the North East of England. He has worked professionally in the world of street theatre for fifteen years - creating, directing and producing his own acts.
He began his career as a street performer in the famous piazza of London's Covent Garden and grew to be internationally recognised with performances at hundreds of leading events and festivals worldwide.
His extensive experience on the international circuit gives him unique vision to understand a client's requirements and bring the very best in entertainment to your event.

All of our costumes and puppets are made in-house with precision and care in our dedicated workshop.
We make and produce all our own work; putting thousands of hours into each fabrication to create incredible unique acts without equal.
By making our own acts we're able to develop each idea alongside our performers to maximise the potential of our vision both in terms of performance and aethetics.

Imogen BANKS
Director / Maker / Performer
Imogen trained at The Royal Academy of Music and East 15 Acting School. With a background in fashion and art she directs the aesthetic style and content of Theatre Illumiere.
Having toured extensively with jazz orchestras and musical theatre productions she is an authority in theatre and performance - bringing a clear vision and direction to the work of Theatre Illumiere.
Her work in musical theatre includes national tours of Show Boat, Spring Awakening and The Monocle, as well as Shakespearean productions of The Merchant of Venice, Twelfth Night, A Midsummer Nights Dream and Love’s Labours Lost. Her work in jazz includes Lenk Jazz Festival, The Royal Albert Hall, Ronnie Scott's, Annabel's, Sky TV, BBC and the Guitar Hero video games.
